when Aaliyah + I first started planning this session, I knew I had to find a location that was just as beautiful as their relationship. I stumbled upon The Fisher Building while googling “prettiest buildings in Detroit” and it did not disappoint. Aaliyah & Ray are so playful + free that I knew I could have them run and dance around this historic building. There was a blizzard outside while we were shooting & I just wanted this session to feel like a movie where the main characters were shaking warmth from the snow + creating a core memory together.
