I’m Kali. One of my earliest memories with photography is back in elementary school when my mom bought me a little pink digital camera and all I did was take pictures of my family existing. Then in middle school when I got waaay too into editing + photoshop with my iPod touch. In high school I took yearbook for three years and I could finally learn on a professional camera. Since then I have been on and off taking pictures as a hobby. I would leave it and constantly come back because I truly enjoyed it. I’ve always been told the saying “find what you love doing and you’ll never work a day in your life” and for me it’s photography. I have always over romanticized life, I’m a stop and smell the roses type of person. I absolutely adore capturing raw emotion in my photos, I strive for pictures that make you feel something. My goal is to tell your story of pure love.

If I’m not out taking photos or editing, you’ll probably find me soaking up time with the people who mean the most to me, my friends and family. They’re my grounding force and my greatest inspiration. I love slow afternoons spent thrifting, diving into a new hobby just for the joy of it, or just being present in the little, ordinary moments. And when I’m home, I’m curled up with my three cats. Charlie, Walter, and Oliver, who make every day feel a little cozier and a lot more full of love.

My current day job is bartending at my family’s bar. I find pride working here because not only is it a woman owned business it is named after one of my favorite women to ever exist. My grandma Betty Jane. She was my best friend. When she was alive we would constantly talk about synchronicity in numbers and google all of the combinations we kept seeing. When I was debating on what to name my business I kept seeing “222” everywhere I looked. I finally googled what it meant. A short version is that is has to do with balance and that you are on the right path. It was her way of telling me that everything happens for a reason and to keep my faith because I was following the right dream.

I find so much joy in this profession. I love learning new things, meeting genuine people and pushing myself to new limits. With that being said, I can’t wait to get to know each and everyone of you, and i’m SO excited to work together!
